A one man sailboat left Japan and managed to cross the Pacific Ocean in only 94 days. To honor this extraordinary act of courage, the sailboat and a sculpture by Beniamino Bufano are now exhibited at the Maritime Museum of San Francisco.The second floor offers you three photomurals of the San Francisco shore, scrimshaw, lithographic stones and whaling guns. On the third floor, we invite you to visit the current exhibit Sparks, Waves and Wizards: Communications at Sea. We’re convinced you’ll love it.
